So from what I understand Miss before marriage, Mrs while married and Ms after a divorce. Not sure what it for a widow though! This popped up in my head as the hospital sent me my meds with (miss) in brackets like ehh okay? But Iv realised that men only have Mr really, nothing telling us his marital status. Please correct me if I am wrong though!

Anyways I asked my partner about it and he thinks I’m getting upset over nothing, I wouldn’t say I’m upset but it just seems a bit bleh. Why do women have to have their status written in the open? While men don’t. Seems a bit strange. Probs overthinking maybe but any info on it, is welcome. Thanks!
