IVF after 35
We have one viable frozen embryo (frozen from 32 year old eggs) which we are only planning to transfer in 2023 as we want at least a 2 year age gap between our kids. However I will be 36 then. If unsuccessful we would plan to do a new egg retrieval. I am wondering if I should be planning on doing a egg retrieval later this year (at age 35.5) to give us options. Of course I would rather not have to do another egg retrieval but I’m worried our transfer won’t work. We don’t want any more kids. How much of a difference does it make for a half year wait after 35?
