In a text my MIL told me that myself and my two kids are burdens on her son, my husband. She said having my daughters diagnosis (autism) and my son being born in May (2 clubbed feet) with medical issues is also very stressful and for her son.

All I did was vent to her about how I wish he would help me out more like preparing for the new baby getting every room organized and she bluntly said all that.

She lives 2 hours away and we see her maybe 2x a year. I was going to have her along in the room, a special moment of seeing my son born via c-section. But now I don’t even want her around us. I told my husband and he agrees.

What do you all think? Am I over reacting or was that rude of her to say to me?
