Alright y’all, should you not put clothes/shoes that your child’s father bought on the kids that arent his?

BD is mad because BM put clothes that BD bought on her other kid and is threatening to come pick up all of his sons clothes.
 We’re NOT talking about hand-me-downs. 
Is he wrong?

This is ridiculous and petty. Siblings that are the same age or close in size share clothes. This shit is TOXIC.

If he buys clothes for his son, they’re for his son. They should be worn by his son. 
If his son has outgrown the clothes then for sure she can use for other kids! 
But if she’s putting the clothes on the other kids instead of the son, that’s wrong. Anything that comes from dad that’s in moms house, should really only be for son. Whether it’s toys or clothes.

This is the only part that matters, in my opinion:
Does the child care? 
If the child doesn’t care or is the one that offered up their clothes to their sibling, then why is it such a big deal? Maybe they didn’t like a particular shirt or maybe the pants fit weird and their sibling liked it or fit them better.
If the child is bothered, like if their sibling is going in and taking their clothes without permission, then the parents should address that issue. 
Otherwise, get over it and act like adults.

Because I have a stepdaughter that goes to her moms a couple of weekends out of the month, I totally get it. We stopped sending her in new clothes because anything nice ended up being “lost” yet found in time for her sisters to wear. 
It sucks having multiple baby daddies who don’t all pull their weight, but don’t take from mine to make up for it.

That’s the dumbest thing to get mad over to be honest. If the son doesn’t care then he can share his clothes with his sibling. The father or mother doesn’t dictate who wears the clothes as long as they’re wearing clothes.

Maybe her other sons father is absent and she doesn’t want him to feel left out every time this man buys his son new clothes.  My niece has a very involved father, my nephew does not.  It was always heartbreaking for me to see her dressed to a T, brand new electronics, and the whole nine while my nephew was left to wear whatever his mom could afford, which wasn’t much.  My mom and I would end up shopping for him so he at least had something new.  If it upset us, imagine how my nephew felt.😔😔

I think the dad should have a better mindset. Facilitate the bond by allowing them to share and facilitate a good relationship with your baby's family by being generous and cooperative.
