Does my medication make Nexplanon less effective?

I had unprotected sex 2 days ago and let him finish in me. I’m also taking Linzess, a medication for chronic constipation. Now I’m worried that the medicine can make my Nexplanon less effective.. 
Any opinions?

Some medications can mess with the effectiveness of birth control. That’s something that should be discussed with your doctor, and if it’s something you’re worried about and don’t want an unexpected surprise pregnancy use some form of backup birth control like a condom.
