Balding from birth control

I have a huge bald spot on the top of my head that I just noticed. Could it be from birth control? I’m 22 and have a ton of hair otherwise. This is completely new. It’s so noticeable but only from the back which is why I just noticed it. I’ve been on the pill for about 3 weeks. Will it grow back? I’m so sad.
