Dental implant question-how much did it cost?

I knew they were expensive but even with insurance I’m paying about $1,600 for one implant; insurance covers half so it’s $3,200 total. I know a place that doesn’t take insurance and the implants start at $1000, i wonder if it’s cheaper not to use insurance. Im just curious what others have paid. I’m sure location plays a factor in It as well. I’m in the Philadelphia area. Thank you in advance!

I’m in the northeast and paid $4000 like 10 years ago. My insurance didn’t cover any of it. I was only missing an adult tooth (still had baby tooth at 26 😂), so didn’t have any rot or anything that required bone graphing. 
Not sure if they’ve gotten cheaper or there’s different types or not (mine was in the front), but sounds like you’re getting a decent price to me!

I’m in Philly. Have you called Temple?  Their dental school does work that’s low-cost or free. You can ask if they do implants. See if it’s cheaper to do that.
