I recently noticed my 5 yr old daughter has some dark areas in between her legs ? Is this normal ? How does it go away ? Does it have to do with anything? Should I scrub her more often.

Is she heavy? It could be friction causing the skin to "toughen up" or could be a sign of early insulin resistance. I would suggest seeing a doctor and absolutely NOT scrubbing her harder as clearly it's not dirt if it doesn't come up.

Depends on what the dark area is? If it's pigment changes you can't make it go away. If it's because she isn't washed properly you can perhaps scrub it.
It's not a lot to go on here to help you. If you're concerned about it talk to her pediatrician at a check up.
