Is he playing me?

Lately I've been doubting the guy I've been seeing for the past few months. Out of nowhere he tells me he's busy with work but when I went over he had thrown away the toothbrush he gave me during one of the early times I'd stay over. He hadn't thrown It away until that period he said he was busy. He also had a woman's journal which I asked him about it and he said it was his buddies girls journal which she left in his car**. I think it's bullshit but i don't know.... what do you guys think
