My period does not line up with the placebo pills in my pack it’s always before, I’ve almost been on it for 4 months. Is this normal?!

I’m just so confused 😩 I don’t even know if I should start another pack after these regular pills end and not take the placebo pills or just take the placebo pills even though I’ve already had a period.

I was on a really low dose birth control pill before my IUD and I'd get spotting all the time random periods etc. Once they put me on a higher level of estrogen/ progesterone birth control pill my periods lined up perfectly with my placebo week.

Mine doesn’t line up by a day or two. Ive been on it 6 months now. Maybe it will take time but I don’t think there is anything wrong.

It can take up to 6 months for ur body to fully adjust to being on birth control. But, at this point, u can talk to ur doctor about it, they may suggest trying a different brand of pills.
