IUD Period question ? Please help

I have a question about my IUD that I can’t find on the Internet.

For the first time while having my IUD, I’m having a very lengthy period thats going on two weeks. I’ve been on my IUD for three years and my period lengths have only been between 2-5 days. Has anyone else had this issue or is this something serious that I need to make an appointment with my GYN?
