my ex boyfriend stuck his hand up my shirt and groped my boobs, he kept trying to touch me down there and kept touching my butt and he made me so uncomfortable but i was scared to say no. i’ve never been in this situation and i was terrified. so i said yes. is this sexual assault

I feel like if something he said or did implied that you should be scared then most definitely yes. He should have asked for consent to touch before hand but some couples have different boundaries and prefer not to be asked but to go with the flow. If what he did made you uncomfortable your feelings are 100% valid. If he did scare you into letting him touch you I would suggest that you find a way to distance yourself from him. If not maybe have a discussion about boundaries so you both can feel comfortable next time things start getting intimate.
