Should I do what the doctor says?
It’s been just over a month of me putting 3 diapers on my baby. We went to check up with his health, it was supposed to be a 4 month checkup but we went a little late. The doctor saw my baby’s leg folds weren’t matching up and then noticed another things so he told us to put 3 diapers on him at all times and to get an X-ray. We got the X-ray and it looked fine. But I was told to keep putting 3 diapers on him until his next appointment, but that isn’t until June. So for the next 2 and a half months he is going to be wearing 3 diapers. What I’m confused about here is it seems to be stunting his efforts to sit and to roll and to try and crawl. I can’t imagine moving with 3 diapers on would be easy (they make his legs stay apart and they are so bulky) it’s also not breathable for his private parts so I find that he is starting to rash up more. I don’t know if I should continue 3 diapers especially since the X-ray was fine. What would you do? Also I didn’t mention how when he is sitting I think the pressure of 3 diapers around his waist is too much for him and it causes him to throw up. I know personally wearing jeans hurts my insides sometimes so I can’t imagine how he must feel.
