How to make labor “easier/quicker”?

Obviously, nothing is garunteed, as everyone is different and childbirth isn’t supposed to be fun lol. 
BUTTT is there anything you felt that you did to help make it easier or quicker? Whether it was before or after birth?

One thing that helped me was the epidural…. Lol. 
On a serious note with my second kid, I was able to labor on a birthing ball which really helped me. I was induced and start to finish was only 2 hours. (Keep in mind this was my second kid… so things went really quick for induction. ) 
I tried to go in with no expectations and roll with the punches as they come. Unfortunately labor isn’t ever really as planned. But the more you can walk around or move.. the better. In my opinion.

I stayed home as long as I could for both my babies I think that helped keep things going, being in a familiar place, doing my own thing. It's a bit of a blur for me after I got to the hospital though since I usually got there shortly before transition and I wasn't really thinking of anything else except my breathing. Having small snacks and drinks thru the first park helped me feel better and a warm bath while I was at home.

People swear by acupuncture. I love it in general but didn’t try for labor purposes. 
Once I got the epidural I could focus a little more. My contractions were intense.

Going to the chiropractor I truly think helped me a lot. During labor, relaxing my muscles and not tensing up to the pain plus walking.

Unfortunately I haven’t had the blessing of a baby just yet. BUT I work at a physical therapy clinic and actually we just had a patient who was coming {8 months pregnant} and they were doing exercises and strengthening to help ease labor. I had NO idea that was even a thing but totally something I’m keeping in mind when my time comes!
