Has anyone gone through this pain??

I am 24 years old with 2 kids and usually during the winter my ankles and feet hurt from the cold sometimes but ever since January of this year, my legs have been starting to hurt more.. well last month, it got so bad I could barley walk or even get out of bed. I was tested for blood work and I guess everything came back normal, I was prescribed gabapentin.. told dr it wasn’t helping, he told me to double my intake of 6 total a day along with anti-inflammatory meds.. finished it and felt better with the dosage… 1 day off it and it went right back to severe pain.. he prescribed me a steroid pack of methylprednisolone and if I still don’t feel better by Friday of next week to go in for a referral to a rheumatologist.

My pains feels dull, achy, sharp. It moved up into my hips, arms , fingers, and all over my legs, feet … everywhere. My skin hurts to the touch, I literally don’t know what’s going on with my body.

What does a rheumatologist do ?? And has anyone else gone through something like this ?
