What are you teaching your 2 year olds?

My son is 3 months short of 3 years. Sometimes i feel like he doesnt know enough especially when we go out and someone challenges him at sth he cant do in german. And yet he already knows so much in english. want to get ideas of what else i can teach him.

I’m sure you are doing great. No kid that age is expected to know even one language comprehensively, let alone two!

Your baby is just fine. They have their own pace for things. All you have to do is keep doing what you’re / you’ve been doing your awesome and if he could thanj you every second of every day I’m sure he would ! Teach him ANYTHING you’d love for him to know. 
These times for toddlers is when their brain has the more activity so whoever they see hear , they’ll pick up on it quick. No matter if they should u they they know/ remember anything or not. They’ll always know and remember. 
My baby (he’s my nephew but I’ve been around him every single day of his life since I was given a positive pregnancy test!)
He’ll be 3 this October and he’s tremendously smart. People are always surprised at him when he goes out in public. I always get “how old is he” “no way he’s 2” “no he did not just say that full sentence clear like that”. 
Aside from what he’d been taught … my baby picks up on so much things and he reads everyone’s lips so he can know how to say a word. 
We’ve taught him colors , numbers , shapes, animals , animal sounds, things outside like different vehicles and the sounds they make and what their for , the trees bushes and flowers , the sky and clouds , the weather if it’s raining snowing hot or cold. If HEA hit or cold. He knows pain , if he hit a body part he’ll say ow and tell us what he hit and if it hurts. He’ll always say he’s alright and ask us if we’re alright if he seems us get hurt or upset.  
It’s a lot more to it. 
This baby is too damn smart.
