Question/taught about please help if you can (metformin related)

I have forgot to take metformin (1000mg a day) for the last 2 days due to not have my prescription from the chemist been a bit busy and this is the first time in 2 years I have forgotten to take it. Anyway this cycle I also took 50mg clomid day 3-7 (3rd cycle) last two cycles I didn’t ovulate. But over the last two days without metformin my opks have gotten darker (not positive but definitely darker and the are darker then they have been in the 2 cycle on clomid) I’m on cycle day 17 today now I’m wondering to stop metformin and see what happens (I love metformin it’s my life saver brought my cycles back from 40-100 to every 28/32 days for over 2 years)
