Heart palpitations is very normal is pregnancy.. you should get checked out if it's occupied with rapid resting heart rate (over 100), shortness of breath, and dizziness. I was actually just in the ER for this and ended up being anemic. By itself palpitations is usually harmless so watch for other symptoms with it to know if you should get checked out.

i agree with the other 2 comments, dehydration can also make it worse from what i've read because i was also experiencing the same thing earlier in my pregnancy. i only drink water now with exceptions of sweet tea every once in awhile or juice and i barely have them now but im not sure if it's just a coincidence or not!
