I found out I had a terrible UTI (e coli) about 2 weeks ago and was put on a 7 day course of Keflex. I thought this cleared up the infection but the symptoms came back even worse a few days after stopping the antibiotics.

I was then put on Macrodantin for 7 days and am currently on day 6 of taking them but I can feel those weird UTI sensations coming back 😣

Now I’m paranoid that the infection still hasn’t cleared up. I’m 14 weeks pregnant, which doesn’t help with the paranoia as I don’t want the infection to affect my pregnancy.

Has this happened to anyone else? Did the infection go away?
