When does heartbreak stop hurting

Does the feeling of your significant other cheating ever get better, especially when you stayed with them to work it out.

Answer

Yes , it gets better . But no matter the situation , it takes time to fully heal a broken heart . Understand that nobody fully heals right away . If they go be with someone else right after you , they were either already mentally gone before the relationship ended or they're just using that other person to try to get over you . 
I was in a similar situation before . Talking to people about it didnt help me . Especially my friends/family . Cause of course they're gonna be on my side . They're just gonna tell me what I want to hear to make me feel better ... didnt really heal me .
The best thing I did was start journaling . Literally wrote down everything that came to my head like I was talking to my book . Do that for a couple days or until you feel like you got all your emotions out . Leave the book somewhere . Come back to it next time you start to think of them . As for me , journaling then going back to read what I wrote just made me realize that I wasn't putting myself & my peace first . Everytime I reread it , I realized how crazy I sounded for wanting to "water a dead plant" while that plant was already growing in someone else's yard . Instead of being sad , I just got more & more mad about the situation .... & finally just came to my senses & let it go .
Not saying you have to do what I did but it may work for you . Keep your head up mamas 💖

Have you decided to stay together? I personally don’t think I could get over cheating, once the trust has been broken you lose that special “soul mate” connection and are forever questioning their every move.
A fresh start with someone that worships the ground you walk in and would do anything for you is what you deserve! x

It doesnt get better per se but it stings less until one day it doesnt feel like anything anymore. However long your relationship was, itll take half that time to get over.
