do u like your IUD?

Im considering getting an iud mainly because I do prefer sex without condoms ( feels better for some reason idk) but I’ve been hearing horror stories. Im really scared of the pain level of the insertion because I have vaginismus. I’m also worried that their will be lots of bad side effects. Do you like yours?

I had the paragard IUD (hormone free with copper in it). I was miserable because of the terrible periods and cramps, along with getting BV from it. I had to have it taken out because it gave me BV and I had black discharge…

I got the Kyleena, mine is doing pretty good. The insertion hurt and I got really bad cramping for the rest of the day. But the next day and on I’ve been completely fine! :) I’m currently on my first period since I got it inserted and it’s been going on for 11 days now, but absolutely no cramping. 
But again, everyone is different and everyone’s body will react a different way. Hope this helped!

My mirena was great, I had regular periods. But after 8 months my body rejected it and it fell right out into my hand

I love mine yes the insertion did hurt and did cramp for about 2 weeks after it and bled for about 2 months but now I don't have a period I forget I have it and I'm good for about 4 and half more years
