NIPT Test for baby’s gender?

Anyone ever did the NIPT test to find out the baby’s gender? If so, was it accurate?

Mine was correct, I did the nipt at 11 weeks and then doubled checked at the 20 week ultrasound. He had his legs wide open and was very clearly a boy haha. 
My friend didn't do the nipt and her baby didn't want to move his legs at her 20 week scan so was told girl, she later did a private scan and it was very clearly a boy luckily she hadn't bought anything yet!

Just be aware that 1 in 10 come back unable to determine babies gender. It happened to me!

Yes, and I’m pretty sure it’s the most accurate way to find out gender other than waiting until they are born. It’s like 99.9% or something like that.

Just a shout, I’d avoid calling the NIPT a gender test. It’s used to test for chromosome abnormalities and gender is just another item that gets documented. I’ve been one of the unlucky ones to get bad results, so it’s a bit insensitive to refer to this as a gender test.
