Hi all!

I have been taking Yasmin for a few years, and continuous pill taking, around 5 months I get breakthrough bleeding, have my normal period then continue. I’m now on holiday so last Friday (before trip) thought I’d stop my pack at the end and have a 4 day break, starting again day 5. (To prevent getting it on holiday)

For a week now my period has been the heaviest it has ever been, small blood clots and each hour I’m having to change a tampon and a pad as it seeps through :( I’m wondering if this is normal as it has never been so heavy? Is it because I stopped the pill myself after 5 months? Instead of waiting for breakthrough bleeding to tell me I need a break? I don’t have pain just the usual 2-3 days at the beginning for me. Helpppp please :(
