I started birth control when I was 16. The pill, the shot, and even the implant in my arm. I am now turning 31 this year and stopped my birth control the beginning of this year. Throughout those 15 years of birth control I disliked the implant the worse… it took me 4 months to get my cycles back to normal status. For the ladies who have stopped their birth control and have detoxed from it, how long did it take your body to get back to normal? Is it possible I would get pregnant easier or harder based on years of usage? I want to have another baby (it has been 8 years since I had my son)… but I’m afraid I can’t get pregnant because all of the birth control.
