STD from kissing stripper?

Alright y'all, I ask that nobody be judgmental please... I am a very uptight person, except when I'm drinking. Like great career, almost fiancé, own a house and a dog, very responsible. Very type A.

My boyfriend's friends like going to the strip club sometimes. He's never gone with, even though I told him I wouldn't care. Well, we were all out for a friends birthday on Saturday night, we all got drunk and decided to all go.

Obviously, it was my first time at a strip club. All the guys would tell every stripper who came out on stage and they would give me attention. One asked if I was ok with physical contact and I was like yeah sure. She kissed me, like tongue and all. All in all, I actually had a great time and was proud of myself for just letting loose.

Well, it's been 4 days and today I woke up with a sore throat. We were at multiple crowded bars so I was like ok, I probably caught something. I'm a MASSIVE hypochondriac but I can handle a cold or the flu. My boyfriend, being the gem that he is, goes, "Maybe you caught syphilis or some other STD from the stripper." He was kidding. My mind went straight into panic mode.

Someone please tell me that isn't possible and that I just have a cold or something😅 My boyfriend had the flu for like 3 weeks not long ago and I did not catch it. I am freaking out that he's right even though I know, logically, he probably is not... help lol
