Going on birth control

so I need to go on birth control again because I’m sexually active but I don’t know how to talk to my parents about it. I’m 19 and they are very involved in my health. They know what kind of medication I take and when I have my doctors appointment because I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and my parents are basically torn apart are my diagnosis so my dad goes to my appointments with me and my mom basically makes him go to my appointments with me. they are too invested in my health and I just wanna get on birth control because I am sexually active. but I don’t know how to tell them that I wanna get on birth control without telling them I’m sexually active. because I do not wanna talk to them about that and I just don’t wanna bring it up because they’re very religious. I was thinking about lying and say I just need to take birth control for irregular periods??? but I’m not entirely sure
