1st FET/IVF cycle failed - looking for advice

My husband and I are 33 years old with unexplained infertility. I’ve never been pregnant. We’ve done assisted timed intercourse, injectable IUIs, and we just found out our 1st IVF Transfer didn’t work. From that round of IVF we originally retrieved 18 follicles, 6 eggs were large enough to fertilize, 1 made it to blastocyst and was genetically normal for the transfer. I don’t know what the grade of the embryo was - my RE recommend us not knowing, but I’m going to as now.

My thought is if we retrieved 18 follicles, but only 6 eggs were large enough to fertilize maybe that’s where the problem lies - my follicle size to egg size ratio is not the norm. This is just a guess, but would like other peoples perspectives.

I’m reaching out to get advice on questions we should be asking our RE. Please share any questions or asks for RE after a failed transfers and/or low embryo count.

From a diet and holistic stand point, I ate an organic anti-inflammatory diet, went to acupuncture 1x week for over a year, and take prenatals, vita D, coQ10, and omega 3. I’m also looking for suggestions here too please.
