How long did you wait?

Just wondering how long you waited to go for the first sperm analysis after VR? Bf was told 2-3 months. Has anyone done there's at 2 months with good results? Or should we hold out the extra month? Also has anyone used an  at home test while waiting for the lab test?

Answer

We did an at-home test a few weeks before my husband’s 3-month post-procedure lab test. We got a very faint positive! When he had the semen analysis done about 2 weeks later, he had good numbers (70 million sperm). I have not gotten pregnant yet, but this is my first cycle since his lab tests, so I’m hoping this is the one now that we know his numbers are good! Personally, I would wait until 3 months just so you know you’ve given everything enough time to heal and start producing good speed. Good luck!!
