What to do when he only wants 1 specific thing to eat?

So my son has been refusing dinner regardless of what I try to give him unless it is either porridge, weetabix, or cerelac. He will keep crying until he gets one of those options offered to him. I've tried so much and just don't know what to do to break that habit as he's not getting much nutrition from any of those options. I don't want him going to bed hungry so I feel like I have no other choice.. what do I do?

Give the dinner you make, if eh cries just tell him that’s all you have and if he doesn’t eat then he doesn’t eat. Soon enough he will understand, one day not eating dinner won’t do any harm

At this age kids can be very picky. My little one hates her veggies so I incorporate her veggies in a smoothie. I take 1/2 banana and broccoli and carrots with a little almond milk and she loves it. I also struggle with getting her to eat certain food but I noticed that I can make her a plate she refuses to eat it unless she is eating it directly from my plate.

I would say give him the dinner you make and then on the side give me a little bit of porridge or whatever it is that he only wants. Once he finishes that he might try the other food that you give him since he will probably still be hungry
