My period started two days early on Saturday, it was a completely normal start, light pink in color and barely anything. On Sunday I got what I think was the stomach flu/bug (vom/dirrhea) and I had a fever and unbearable cramps but my period was very very light for me and a brown color which is not usual. About half a menstrual cup for the whole day when I’m usually needing to dump my cup at least three times because it’s completely full. It’s now Tuesday and my period is almost nonexistent, a very light brown discharge but nothing more than that. I took a preg test on Monday and it was negative but I can’t find anything on the stomach bug affecting a period like that and everything i’m finding just says the test was wrong or it was too early to test, so has anyone had the stomach flu change their period like this or does it sound like implantation bleeding? I’m still feeling sick to my stomach but not sure if that’s bc I just had a bug or if I need to retest. Thank you for your help!
