Dildo won’t fit?

I’m a virgin and recently got my first dildo. I’ve tried using it multiple times both with and without lube and it just won’t fit. I get about an inch or two in and it slightly burns (not from the material or anything, I’m guessing from stretching). It has a 1.10 inch width at the head and 6 inches of useable length. Now I’m not just trying to pop it in or anything. I reach orgasm through clitoral stimulation before attempting so that I know I’m aroused and wet but it still won’t fit. Tampons go in fine and so does a single finger but I want more. I know a lot of you will say I should just stick to clitoral but I actually enjoy penetration, I just want something bigger than my finger. 
Any advice? Lube is messy so I don’t use a lot, but next time I’ll try a lot more and see how that goes. This is beginning to get frustrating and now I’m afraid I won’t even be able to have sex in the future.

Well first of all calm down and don't stress out if it can't fit after u r aroused  I think u should try from fingers u told that u can fit 1 finger but atleast try 2 before going into dildo I am also a virgin and I m telling u from my experience that it may like u can't fit in but vagina can stretch so try fitting 2 fingers after that u should try first toys  that  have  little bit more weidth  than u can go on dildo nd ALWAYS use lube with toys so that u can hurt

Im not a virgin but still kind of a rookie and used only a vibrator when i was a virgin.  Now i have a dildo and it still burns like you say.  For me if feels the same way during sex but after the first few thrusts i almost ignore it and just try to enjoy the rhythm.
Im still struggling to use mine but i think the best way to start is get on top (go slow) and do your first thrusts from there. Once you get used to the sensation then go into whatever position feels good.

I had the same problem but it’s easier for me now, you might need to stretch your hymen, hymens don’t have to break and everyone’s hymen is different, but you can stretch them slowly and gently and eventually it shouldn’t hurt.  Otherwise you might need to talk to a gynaecologist to find out what the problem is.
