Has anyone ever experienced a similar circumstance

My boyfriend ended things with me today over me commenting about his social media.

He does have a following but also keeps our relationship private and when I say private I mean no one knows.

I brought up how it hurts my feelings almost as If he is embarrassed of me or ashamed or something.

He didn’t talk to me for 3 days after this. I would call no answer I would send a text no response.

We finally talked this morning and I told him again how I felt and he basically said it’s no one’s business we’re in a relationship. Keep in mind 90 percent of his followers are women. I told him he’s either in or out but I can’t do the no communication.

He told me he’s over it and wants to end it.. I let him know I respect his decision and I’ll be done.

Now here is the kicker,… 6 hours later he sends me a text saying “im sorry I couldn’t give you everything you need in a relationship”

I am so confused and don’t even know how to take that because this is so rediculous.

We aren’t kids, we are grown adults.

Wondering if anyone is familiar with this behavior and their experiences?
