Should you talk to your boyfriend/husband every day? (I explain below)

Im not used to a healthy relationship. This is my first healthy one. My boyfriend usually texts me good morning beautiful every day, or texts me throughout the day, even when were both busy he finds the time. He usually initiates. Well one time we went like 2 days without talking and hes like “what happened have you been busy” and then i said oh i thought you didnt wanna talk to me. And he said “the phone goes both ways”

He said it nicely tho. That was a few months ago, but idk if he wants space or wants me to text him, on days like today when we haven’t spoken yet. We see each other about 2-3 times a week btw
