I know that many fertility clinics choose to use 5 day embryos instead of 3 day. I have had the pleasure of having 3 cycles of both fresh and frozen 5 day embryo transfers and have been unsuccessful.

I changed fertility centers. Due to my age of 42, and my husband 63, they decided to due a different protocol and use 3 day embryos to increase my chances. Well, I must say that my 3day frozen embryo transfer with 3 embryos that were good in grade, turned into a positive pregnancy. We did decide to do a more natural cycle with less stimulation.

On 3/2/22, we had our transfer and resulted into a positive pregnancy. I am in 10 weeks today!!! I will say that I am nervous due to multiple miscarriage. But I wanted to share because so many look down on using 3day embryos instead of 5 day. Also, when I look for 3day embryo transfer success, I see very few stories that result in a positive / live pregnancy.
