Belly button piercing at 16 weeks postpartum? Good idea

I'm 16 weeks post partpartum and really want my belly Button pierced. I've got one little boy (16 weeks obviously) would It be a good idea to get a belly button piercing? How to help it heal with baby potentially kicking it lol thanks!x

It's not recommended for while because your more acceptable to infection or rejection of piercing because of hormones

If you’re breastfeeding you shouldn’t be getting any piercings or tattoos until you’re done and no reputable tattoo artist will do it unless you lie, if you lie be sure to expect an infection

It's not recommended if you're breastfeeding due to the higher risk of infection and that not being good for baby, but I know I got my septum pierced like nine months pp cause I really wanted it and needing to do something that felt like myself. I waited that long though just cause I was close to a year and if an infection happened, I wouldn't have been upset about having to stop breastfeeding if it came to that. For belly piercings, I have wanted to get mine repierced since I had my son but I was super worried about him kicking it and pulling at it if it was newly pierced so I've waited. Now almost two years pp and I've stopped breastfeeding and he still cuddles me a lot but doesn't mess with my stomach any so I'ma get it repierced soon.

Personally I wouldn't, because while I regained my shape quickly after babies, it took about 4 months for my skin not to feel as stretchy. I'd be concerned it would make the hole bigger or lopsided 😆 it might be fine though, I would just be patient for that reason. And be careful, little curious things like to yank on things they're curious about 😬
I originally read this at getting it 16 weeks pregnant and thought you were very crazy 😂😂😂 I had to take mine our around 32 weeks. Considering getting it redone but I now have three toddlers who are big hazards lol

It's not a good idea for many reasons including if you have another kid it'll stretch out and your body is still healing from giving birth even if you feel fine.

I'm 16 weeks pp and I'd 100% get a bellybutton piercing. I have 3 kids and it'll be kicked a zillion times but 🤷‍♀️.

I wouldn’t, just because of the location. My baby constantly kicks my c section scar and it’s pretty low. I can only imagine kicking a brand new piercing.
