We’re not giving dried fruit until closer to 2y since the sugar is more concentrated than in fresh fruit.

If you soak them first, then cut and add to oatmeal/cottage cheese, etc. 
not on their own. Too much sugar and chewy texture, it’s a choking hazard

I haven’t even given my 18m old a raisin 😂 Dried fruit seems very chokey to me.

Like a 12 month old or a 23 month old? There’s such a wide range there of what could be safe vs unsafe. Dried apricots specifically probably wouldn’t be my first choice of dried fruit, but my 1 year old (almost 2) has raisins, dried banana, dried apple, dried kiwi, etc. I never offered them before 18 months mainly due to the sugar content.

My daughter loves these when she was that age. Though I never just gave it to her to eat because they are big and can be tough to chew and can be a choking hazard. I scrap off the soft stuff inside and give it to her that way.
