Yesterday we went to pediatrician for a suspected ear infection because he had a fever of 103 and we were correct. We had been alternating Tylenol and Motrin all day but when he woke up from his nap he was lethargic and felt like he was on fire so I took his temp and it was 105.6!!!!

We immediately gave him Tylenol took him to hospital and his pulse was in the 190s and he was uncontrollably crying. We got some Motrin in him but he ended up puking it up.

They gave zofran to help with nausea and were finally able to get Motrin in him. His temp after 5.5 hours got down to 101.8 and pulse slowed down to 140s. Very scary moment since he was at risk for febrile seizures

As of this morning he has no fever. Hopefully the next two doses of augmentin will kick that fever in the butt!
