Hello ladies first IVF

Hello everyone, I will start my first cycle of IVF maybe at the end of this week …. Im 38 years old , 8 failed iui …. Super super scared …. We can do it ladies.

Update: I started my cycle on 5/2/2022. And I went to baseline ultrasound on 5/5/2022 . Everything looks fine and Im ready to start.

Update : I started my medication on 5/5/2022 .and I will go to another ultrasound next Wednesday, on day 9 of my cycle

Update: 5/11/2022 today is day 9 of my cycle …. I went to ultrasound and Bloodwork ….. all follicles around 10-14 …. And E2 is about 1100 …. I will go for another ultrasound on Friday.

Update : 5/13/2022 today is day 11 of my cycle , ultrasound looks good . Follicles are growing nicely ( 10-22) . One ovary is responding better than the other one . Going for last ultrasound on Sunday. Then egg retrieval should be next Tuesday ( day 15 of my cycle) .

Update: 5/15/2022 today is day 13 of my cycle . Done with my injections yeeeeh . Today at 7:00 pm I will take the trigger . And scheduled for egg retrieval on Tuesday 5/17/2022.

Update: 5/17/2022 egg retrieval day …. It was easier than I expected, I waked up in no time … waited for 2 hours to make sure everything is ok and then left home … little spotting , little cramps

5/18 one day after egg retrieval; cramps and bloating really annoying …. I gain 4 pounds …. Little bit worried.

Update: 5/21/2022 . Transfer Day yeeeeeh ….. it was easy and smooth , no pain at all , and no cramps. Stayed in bed for an hour . Dr asked me not to move at all ( not even a hair 😂) . And then went home to bed directly.

Update: 5/22/2022 one day after embryo transfer . No pain and no cramps . Little pink spotting in the morning and nausea. The nausea ended after having breakfast. pregnancy test is scheduled for 6/3/2022 ( and that is our 11th wedding anniversary)

5/27/2022. 6 days after the embryos transfer, having the worst cramps today . I dont know if that is a good thing or not .

5/28/2022 . Solid negative home pregnancy test 😞

Unexpected update : I got pregnant naturally directly after the failed IVF , God is good ladies , never lose faith
