Tongue Tie Procedure

My daughter (2 months old), has a slight tongue tie and her doctor said we could get it corrected now or down the road. She's been having issues latching to bottles and to pacifiers. She's also been getting very gassy everyday and has to constantly be burped throughout the day even when not eating and we're constantly giving her gas drops to try and help because she seems to be in a lot of pain from it. I don't want her getting surgery if she doesn't really need it but I also want it done sooner rather than later if it is. We've tried switching from breast milk to gentle formula, switching bottles and nipple types, and using paced feeding with burping her every half ounce. I just want her more comfortable so she can keep eating well because she recently started eating less than normal because of the discomfort.
