When did your kid climb out of the crib?

My toddler turns 2 in September. 
Last night he climbed out of his crib! My first born never attempted this at all, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised since my toddler was climbing stuff before he could walk. He loves to climb. 
But he’s so young! Is this when kids normally attempt the crib escape? I feel like he’s still to young for a big kid bed what do I do?

Many kids do it even sooner than 2. Once they climb out it’s time to ditch the crib. Safety strap the furniture, childproof the room as much as you can, and have fun shopping for a new bed if your crib doesn’t convert to a toddler bed.

Toddler bed or crib mattress on the floor. And make sure you toddler proof the room and keep the door closed at night for fire safety.

Never, but I transitioned my first to a toddler bed before she turned 2 and I never had my second in a crib.

It varies a lot, but it's not uncommon at least.

Oh yeah as soon as my son turned 2 he was climbing out every night! We had to turn the crib around for a while so the higher side was facing out and he couldn't climb it. He's finally stopped that thank goodness 😅

Never. I transitioned both of mine before they ever tried to climb out. My first was just shy of 2. My second will be 2 end of June and we just transitioned her about a month ago. Both did amazing with the transition.
