Nasal congestion??

My baby girl is 4 weeks and 3 days. She sounds likes she’s congested. But whenever we do saline and plunge we do t get anything and she still sounds congested afterwards. I do t notice it when she’s on her tummy, only her back. 
Yes, we do have a humidifier going.
Thoughts?? Is this normal?? Sometimes it sounds like it’s affecting her breathing/sleeping

I have the same problem with my baby since I brought him from the hospital he’s 6 months now but Dr never seems to be considered since his lungs are always clear his father suffers from allergies I personally think he might have allergies as well 🤷🏻‍♀️. Do es it only happen when your baby is sleeping? Because that’s when I notice it on my baby .

YouTube laryngomalacia and see if it sounds like that. My daughter was born with it and outgrew it around 6 months old. It can be nerve wracking though!

This is actually very normal in young babies. It’s actually been termed “nasal congestion of the newborn” by doctors. Their nasal passages are very tiny and they breathe through their mouths and don’t clear their nasal passageways on their own like you and I. Unless you notice retractions (or “pulling”, you can’t YouTube that to see what it looks like) or very fast and uncomfortable breathing, it’s not worrisome. It actually bothers you more than it bothers babe. You can use saline drops and a bulb syringe. A humidifier helps too! 🤗

Same here. Asked pediatrician he didn’t think was a big concern either. Their little systems are being exposed to so much new stuff that I believe it’s a normal to have little allergies. We also do humidifier every night and was doing saline drops to help keep the nose moist, until pediatrician told me about the spray! So much better and baby doesn’t cry when we do that like when we did drops.
