Attachment/Gentle parenting

Hey ladies,

I may have an issue on my hands. I have a 16 month old and I am due the end of December. My daughter is super attached to me when she cries she wants me only. When she is getting tired she only wants two people which is my husband or myself. Mostly it is me since I am with her 95% of the time. My family doesn’t do my type of parenting. They rather spank when kids are acting up. My family thinks that I will have an issue on my hands between the new baby and my daughter. I am aware that there is going to some jealousy for awhile as my daughter will turn 2 just a few days after I give birth. I am not sure what I am asking here. Honestly any tips with having a second baby while having a small child as well could be useful. I greatly appreciate it!
