7 weeks - Empty Sac

Recently got a positive pregnancy test after 2 years of trying!! However I was getting slight cramps so I was booked in for a scan. I had my first scan about at what I thought was 6 weeks but most likely 4/5… the gestational sac was empty and measure 6.6mm I was told this was normal. Until today I went back and it has grown to 20mm but still cannot see anything inside. I should be 7 weeks or Just under.

The nurses can’t confirm is a blighted ovum yet as apparently they have to wait until the gestational sac is 30mm… she said now it’s 50/50 and I have to wait two weeks for another scan.

I’m terrified and the thought of waiting 2 weeks is killing me has anyone else experienced this?
