Waiting 6 years to post this

I have wanted a baby for almost 7 years now… in that time I have gotten divorced (he didn’t want kids) worked on myself, thought about doing gif alone, and ultimately and found a man who has my whole heart.

I have been dying to see those two lines for almost 3/4 of a decade.

I have smiled and hugged everyone one of my friends during their announcements. Laughed and cried and held their babies as they came home from the hospital. Babysat, helped with feedings, learned night time routines, etc. all hopeful that one day that would be me.

Well today- I saw the first line before the second. I held my very own positive pregnancy test.

My heart is full and I have a man with me who will be the best dad and partner. Good luck to all the ladies out there- every journey is different and I hope you all get to experience the joy that I am feeling right this second ❤️❤️❤️
