I went to the ER two weeks ago due to spotting

Has anyone had a healthy baby/pregnancy. I went to the emergency room because I was scared I was spotting when I was 8 weeks pregnant. I am now 10 weeks pregnant but it got a little heavier. They said the baby looked fine. They said sometimes you bleed during the first trimester. Has anyone had a similar experience?!
