What is going on?

So, I’ve been in a relationship for about 5 years. We went through so much together, I left him one day before our wedding because his mother threatened me and also decided to get an abortion against his wishes. Even after that we were still together. Yesterday he texted me to tell me that he no longer wanted to be with me, we had plans today to watch movies at his house. He told me I could still come abs watch movies if I’d like, so I went and we ended up having sex, he didn’t kiss my lips until penetration but he kissed all over my face and neck. I’m so confused I know I love him and find him attractive, he loves me too but we feel we can’t get married or have children together because of our families really disliking the other. I just really would like you all to give your opinions and any advice on what I should do?

It sounds like a lot more going on besides just your families not liking each other though. That may be a distraction topic, but Im sensing bigger issues.

Stop. Cut off ALL contact and move on. He does NOT want to be with you, he wants all the benefits (hanging out and sex) without actually having to be in a relationship. He’s using you for sex. Might be someone else, who knows. I definitely wouldn’t reccomend continuing to do this. He’s is SINGLE and can sleep/mess around with whoever he pleases. You’re feelings are only going to end up being hurt in the end. You KNOW it will never work out so there’s NO point.
