When did your baby start smiling?

My baby is 2 months and 2 days and still will not give us a social smile or even make much eye contact. He does coo and stare at objects/toys but I’m getting worried he’s not smiling and making eye contact. I hope I’m just being a worried mom and everything is okay :(

I have such a smily little fella ❤️ He has been like that since around 6 weeks when he started smiling.

My son was 6 weeks yesterday and we haven’t had a social smile yesterday. Some little sleep smiles etc. my first it took a bit longer as well, maybe closer to 2 months. Hoping to see them soon! Sometimes I think he is about to and then he cries instead 🤣

My 2 month old little girl JUST started giving social smiles at 2 months.

My son gave us his first smiles at exactly 2 months and even now he will go a day without a smile and then the next day is super smiley

My daughter started really smiling around 5 weeks but her pediatrician said it can take up to 3 months!  All babies are different, and your baby is absolutely perfect no matter what, I wouldn’t worry about it too much yet. 🥰

Both my kids smiled at 4 weeks. My daughter is now 7 weeks and smiles a lot throughout the day ❤️
