Breast milk causing diaper rash?

So I’m not sure but I think my breast milk is causing a diaper rash on my newborn. I notice it makes his butt red when he poops if I’ve eaten tomato sauce but not sure if that’s the issue. Is this possible?

What you eat goes into your milk. Something you’re eating could be making his poo more acidic. Use Vaseline after every diaper change

It's possible. It's not necessarily the breast milk but what you're eating. I noticed when my daughter ate acidic stuff it would cause her to get a rash when she pooped. So you can try and elininate pasta sauce or anything else that seems to bother babe and see if it keeps happening.
