Girls steal your beauty?

This is just for fun please don’t be offended! I remember hearing someone say that when you’re pregnant with a girl the baby steals your beauty, I know it’s an old wives tale but I personally found it to be true lol I had my girl first and gained a lot of weight, I was swollen af, oily, pimples you name it but I’m now pregnant with my second boy and with both pregnancies I still look like myself, my skin is great, I’m not swelling at all and I’ve managed to keep my weight down compared to when I was pregnant with my daughter. Who else finds this to be true?
