Intimacy issues

My boyfriend and I split chores and bills pretty evenly and spend a decent amount of quality time together. However, I haven’t enjoyed sex other then 3x in the last 6 months. I expressed to him how he stopped showing an interest in my pleasure and he promised he heard me and would work on it. However, he never did even with constant reminds of how I felt. Now we have just stopped having sex all together despite him telling me throughout the day all the things he plans to do… and never does. I know he loves me but his lack of desire in intimacy really makes me question it. Has anyone else had this issue and resolved it? Or do I need to simply end it bc that’s where I’m at. :/
